Step 1:
In this first step of our guide to drawing Ariel, we will start with her head and hair. Remember that she’s underwater, so we’ll draw her hair waving around her head. Start with a curved line for the nose, then use rounded shapes for the big eyes. Then you can draw her smiling lips. Your head will rest on your hand, so use curved lines for your hand under your head. Then you can draw the rest of the outline of her face. Once the face is finished, we will draw her hair. To make your hair flow around your head, use curvy, wavy lines, as seen in the reference image. We are, therefore, ready for step 2 of the guide, so let’s go!
Step 2:
We will draw her arms in this step of your drawing of Ariel. You drew his hand under his head in the last step, so in this part, we’ll draw his hand descending from that hand. It will bend and extend to the shoulder, which you can draw with a rounded line. Your other arm will extend to the left side and bend. This arm will end in a hand that runs through her hair to give her a contemplative gaze. Finally, he finished with a rounded shape with lines to start his fish tail.
Step 3:
